Grades 2-5 are celebrating spring's arrival in Sokcho by making traditional flower lanterns. The students spent many hours folding all the leaves and then beginning the process of gluing all the leaves to their flower base. The end effect was a beautifully lit up classroom of lanterns!

Archbishop O'Leary High School

Archbishop O'Leary Students are taking good care of the air-purifier plants in the school. Their Pothos and Snake Plants are watered every week by groups of students so that our plants can continue helping us to keep our air clean of toxics and we can prevent asthma and other respiratory problems in our school community.

It's Spring in Sokcho! And spring means beautiful cherry blossoms come out all around our mountainous home! The Grades 1-5 students went outside for one afternoon in the beautiful sunshine with their art paper, oil pastels and clipboards and created masterpieces of their favourite cherry blossoms around Youngnangho Lake! The perfect way to bring in Spring!
