Kindergarden to grade 2 students at Beau Soleil turned Valentine's day into an environmentaly friendly piece of art. They used empty toilet paper rolls and shaped them into hearts to make leaves for a special tree. They used the drawing of their hand and forearm to make the tree and than added leaves made of hearts. A very special gift for their parents and the environment!!

All students and staff were encouraged to participate in National Sweater Day. This is a day where we turn down the thermostat and put on a sweater instead to show how easy it is to conserve energy. In celebration of the 2014 Winter Olympics, we encouraged everyone to wear sweaters or hoodies with "Canada" on them!
