Grades 5-6-7 have experimented with plants. They were learning which factors affect plant growth. This is important because they will be able to plan healthy gardens.

The grade 5-6-7 class went on a nature hike. They discussed what they saw and experienced on their walk. Each student picked up at least one piece of trash to clean up our beautiful mountain. SMCS - Shalalth

An instruction poster was created to teach printer/photocopier users how to re-use one-sided paper. This keeps reusable paper from the waste stream. Students are learning to ignore the back side of reused paper. SMCS - Shalalth
