Several classes at Nestor are involved in growing tomato seeds for the Tomatosphere project. We learn about plant growth, human needs when in space, and the scientific process. Then the students get to take their tomato plants home to enjoy the "fruits of their labour". errr... unless you consider the tomato a vegetable and not a fruit!
